"Shirin" is a magical projection by Iranian film director Abbas Kiarostami. It's a different area of film. "Shirin" is a story of 112 ladies , but definetly it's a different version, and is the story about the expressions of ladies who were watching 12th century Persian love story in a theatre.
And the "real audiance" can't see the Persian film , only they can hear. The audiance intensively watching the expressions of ladies and make a good image about the Persian love story.
Abbas Kiarostami exposed every minute actions of ladies, like they are intensively watching the film, rearrange their scarves and their expressions like crying, laughing etc. After the show, the viewers knew about the different way of film making.

I was watched on 15th movies.

I was like five films is Treeless Mountain, True noon, Masangeles, Mid summer and Broken Embraces. I was unlike three films is Anti Christ, Nothing personal and Queen of the night.

Treeless Mountain
South Korea
Dir: So Yong Kim
In this film is very interesting, good story and good direction. This story describes the story of six years old Jin who lives with her little sister Bin, and their loss of mother, father and house. They are separated. Jin learns that taking care of her sister is actually away of filling the missing link in her heart. It is a good story for children.

Broken Embraces
Spain
Dir: Pedro Almodovar

This story was difficult for me to understand. Penelope Cruz has given an excellent performance. The hero in this film uses two names: Harry Caine, a playful pseudonym with which he signs his literary works, storys and scripts. The other name. is Mateo Blanco, his real name. Fourteen years before in an accident he not only lost his eyesight, but also Lena, his lover. The editing and sound quality is good.

True Noon
Tadjikistan
Dir: Nosir Saidov
True Noon was selected as the audience choice film and was given the Rajathachakoram and the best director award. It is an innocent story of human life in two small villages. Nilufar, the young charming girl is main character. She is engaged to Azis, from the other village, but suddenly comes a wire border to separate the villagers. This film has wonderful shots and sequences.
Masangeles
Belgium/ Cuba/ Uruguay
Dir: Beatriz Flores Silva
Masangeles is a mind touching story. Masangeles is a seven year girl. Her mother commits suicides. Her father Aurelio Saavedra is a leading polititian. In the end Masangeles gives birth to a child. She loses her father, husband and her house in a riot. Direction of this movie was very good.

Mid Summer (Madhyavenal)
India
Dir: Madhu Kaithapuram

Movie is set in a north kerala village. A message against globalization and new generation bank. The film promotes Gandhian idealism. This film revolves around Sarojini, a Khadi worker, who is a Gandhian idealist with the fire of the spirit of resistance in her husband, Kumaran who is a beedi union worker and their one daughter. They are a low class family. The main roles are handled by Manoj K Jayan and Swetha Menon. The film has a good story.

Films I didn’t like.
Antichrist
Denmark
Dir: Lars Von Trier
The story was very bad. It is the story of a couple. It has horrible scenes. The film was discussed by all delegates.

Nothing Personal
Ireland-Netherlands
Dir: Urszula Antoniak

A young rebellious Dutch woman, hiking through the Ireland accidentally stumbles along Martin, a widower who lives in a lonely house on a beautiful island. Martin offers her, food in exchange for work. This story is unnatural and unstructured. Female character is a feminist.

Queen of the Night
Mexico
Dir: Arturo Ripstein

Queen of the Nights has a bad story. It is a imaginary biography of the life of the iconoc Mexican singer, Lucha Reyes She was an unconventional sexually liberated woman. This movies sound and picture quality was bad and was a disappointment.

The fourteenth international film festival was a rare experience.
